96-Well Plate Map Generator
List your samples and Verbex lays out the plate: standards, samples, controls and blanks in replicate, by row or column, with replicate sets kept together. Works for 6 to 384-well plates.

How it is calculated
Every number shows its work.
Groups are placed in a fixed order: standard curve, samples, controls, then blanks. Each group's replicates sit in adjacent wells along the fill direction, so replicate sets are easy to pipette with a multichannel.
With "keep replicate sets together" on, a set that would be split across two rows or columns starts on the next one instead. With "leave edge wells empty", the outer ring is skipped to reduce evaporation and temperature edge effects.
The check line confirms every group appears exactly as many times as its replicates and that the layout fits the usable wells.
